Last week, my leadership experience was challenged, and I had to have a tough conversation about the mishandling of the brokenhearted people of God.

I called Valerie Patrice and said, “Val, I didn’t know I was going to use this degree so soon.” She replied, “Oh, you thought you were just checking that off your list?”

Me: YEAH (Silly rabbit).

She said, “Nothing will be wasted.”

And that got me thinking. For a moment, I thought I was the one controlling my life’s narrative. I thought I had called myself! I assumed I was just doing something God asked me to do, and that I wouldn’t face any adversity.

(The nerve, the entitlement 🥴)

But God confirmed something so deep in my spirit on Sunday through the Holy Spirit, and I asked Him, “What does ‘(BOND)not (bound)to prosper’ really look like?” I cried while driving up the hill, feeling heavy and burdened. I parked, looked up, and saw God confirm His word…

God gave me this word for my one of my other sisters and we went in!!!

Webster Definition

Bond-to hold together or solidify

1. : to hold together or solidify by or as if by means of a bond (see bond entry 1) or binder (see binder sense 3) The glue didn't bond to the glass. 2. : to form a close relationship especially through frequent association.

Biblical Definition

Bond-an obligation of any kind

Bond [N] an obligation of any kind ( Numbers 30:2 Numbers 30:4 Numbers 30:12 ). The word means also oppression or affliction ( Psalms 116:16 ; Phil 1:7 ). Christian love is the "bond of perfectness" ( Colossians 3:14 ), and the influences of the Spirit are the "bond of peace" ( Ephesians 4:3 ).

These scripture almost took me out!!!

End of discussion. YES GOD!

What is God telling you, that don’t make no sense but it reveals God?
